The online training of MagicSens “Enhancing the skills of primary school teachers to support students with special educational need’’ is implemented in all partners’ countries.
The educational material on the platform consists of 5 modules:
- Module 1: Special Educational Needs
- Module 2: Cognitive and learning processes
- Module 3: Good practices for inclusive didactics
- Module 4: Tools and methodologies for SEN didactics
- Module 5: Observation and evaluation of the progress in students with Special Educational Needs.
Each module, except the presentations of the educational material, also contains quizzes and assignments for the participants, to understand better the course.
The online platform also had a forum for better communication between the participants and the trainers.
The online training in Romania
In Romania, the online training started on 16 June 2020 and it is still ongoing. Due to the huge number of registrations, as seven hundred twenty people applied to the course, Romanian partners divided the participants into two groups.
The online training in Greece
In Greece, the online training started on 22 June 2020 and it was completed on 26 July 2020. The training, which lasted 5 weeks, was implemented by the method of asynchronous distance education and it included two online meetings with the trainer Konstantina Terzi (Special Education Teacher, M.Sc).
Sixty-six people filled in the application form of the training MagicSens. The participants were teachers, kindergarten teachers and graduates of pedagogical schools from all Greece.
The online training in Italy
In Italy, the training course started on 10 June 2020 and it is still open. One hundred fourteen people registered to the online training course of MagicSens, to enhance their skills in dealing with children with SEN. On 10 June 2020, Italian partners organized a webinar with the participants, to present the course and discuss with them.
